The standout performance came from Frank Mba, who claimed the title with a dominant showing that caught the eye of sponsors and club brass. Engineer Akin Akinkugbe finished strong in second place, with Mrs. Ochuko Ikpikpini rounding out the podium in third.
What impressed the gallery most wasn’t just the competitive fire on court—it was how quickly the newcomers absorbed the nuances of the game. Rookies held their own against seasoned players, signaling a shift in the competitive landscape at the historic Lagos venue.
