In a significant development, President Bola Tinubu has expressed relief and optimism following a series of successful military operations targeting terrorist threats in Nigeria’s northwest region. The operations, conducted by troops from Operation Hadarin Daji, resulted in the elimination of the notorious bandit leader Halilu Sububu, who had terrorized Zamfara, Sokoto, and surrounding areas. Additionally, another high-profile terrorist, Sani Burki, was neutralized in Katsina during a collaborative military effort, while a terrorist enclave in Kaduna was dismantled, leading to the rescue of 13 kidnapped students.
