A Nigerian woman has welcomed sextuplets after 26yrs of waiting. A video that has gone viral shows her with her six newborns; three boys and three girls, in the hospital room.

In an Instagram post, her eldest child shared that the sextuplets were born 26 years after her own birth. She expressed her happiness at no longer being the only child and gave thanks to God for the new additions to their family.

“Officially saying goodbye to being the only child. My mum had six children after years of waiting,” she wrote.

“Pastor Jerry will share a testimony that sounds unbelievable. I’ve prayed for this for eight years. God responded by giving me one child for each year of waiting. How can I explain that my 40-year-old mother had six babies? I was in such awe, I couldn’t even shout.”
