President Bola Tinubu emphasized that his priority is not on securing re-election in 2027 but on addressing Nigeria’s pressing challenges. He made these comments at the All Progressives Congress (APC) South-West Zone Assembly held at Eko Hotel and Suites in Victoria Island, Lagos, on Saturday.

Represented by Chief of Staff Femi Gbajabiamila, Tinubu expressed his concern over the hardships facing the nation and assured citizens that conditions would improve.

“Each leader emerges to meet the needs of their time. This is the moment for courageous leadership,” Tinubu remarked, highlighting the diverse and significant challenges Nigeria is currently facing. He reaffirmed his commitment to the citizens, stating his intention to listen and act in their best interests.
