This comes after Oshiomhole allegedly made defamatory statements against Ighodalo during a political rally in Benin City on Saturday, September 14, 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Oshiomhole reportedly accused Ighodalo of being involved in a fraudulent Ponzi scheme known as &#8220;PLANWELL,&#8221; which resulted in significant financial losses for many Nigerians.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"640\" height=\"572\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/youdonhear.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/09\/Screenshot_20240916-175713_1.jpg?resize=640%2C572&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-633\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/youdonhear.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/09\/Screenshot_20240916-175713_1.jpg?w=682&amp;ssl=1 682w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/youdonhear.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/09\/Screenshot_20240916-175713_1.jpg?resize=300%2C268&amp;ssl=1 300w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/youdonhear.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/09\/Screenshot_20240916-175713_1.jpg?resize=600%2C537&amp;ssl=1 600w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The legal notice from Ighodalo\u2019s team calls for a public apology and retraction of the defamatory remarks on at least two national television stations and three major newspapers. It also demands N20 billion in damages for the false statements.
